Winning the Prince of Golgotha!
The Apostle John saw the glorified Christ in a vision. He saw not only the risen Jesus - glorified, but were also simultaneously a wonderful message that has got the name of being "biblical powerful message." Only Jesus - win the Prince of Golgotha could pronounce the words: "I was dead, and behold I am alive forever and ever!" Isaiah 40:28. Whoever pronounced the victory of the words is an eternal God. Jesus quoted Isaiah: "I am the first and the last, and besides me there is no God."

I was dead!
Why did Jesus die? And how could God die? How could he who is "The First and the Last" (Alpha and Omega) die? How can the Almighty die? There are some who wished to assert that Jesus was not God in the proper sense precisely because he died. What did Jesus himself about his death ?: "No one takes my life from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have rmakt to give it, and I have power to take it again." John 10:18. Only the Almighty can say this.
Jesus died for our sake
Jesus' death must be seen as part of his human beggary for our sake: "He took the form of God, but watched not regard equality with God, but gave up everything and adopted the form of a servant when he became one of us. When he the exterior had become a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. " Philippians 2: 6-7.
He is equal, but emptied himself, adopting a slave when he became one of us, and finally he gave his life a ransom for us. Death was the supreme outwear, but it was necessary that he in our place could atone for sin, because sin is death. Peter writes: "Christ also died for sins, once and for all. Righteousness He died for the unjust, to bring you to God." 1 Peter 3:18.
Jesus had never had to die for the sake of it, he died for our sake, because the wages of sin is death. When Jesus was on the Mount, he could have gone directly from there to heaven. But instead, he spoke with Moses and Elijah about "his exodus from the world (death) that he should accomplish in Jerusalem" - about his atoning death on the cross. It was for our sake he must taste death.
Jesus draws us from the Fall all the consequences
John writes: "You know that he was revealed to take away sins, and sin is not in him ... the Son of God has been revealed to wipe out the works of the devil." 1 John 3: 5,8. Jesus came to wipe out the devil and establish us from the Fall all the consequences: He crushes Satan's power, destroys sin, deletes the judgment and punishment of sin and finally defeats even death and gives us eternal life.
"Any sin is not in him." Because Jesus was without sin, he could defeat Satan and wipe out his work. Jesus was born holy, He came to earth through the Holy Spirit. Matthew writes: "... Mary was pregnant by the Holy Spirit." - "Conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 1:18, 20. Luke writes: "The angel Gabriel:" The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore be born will be called holy, and the Son of God. "Luke 1:35. Outwardly, Jesus came in the sinless position as Adam had before the fall, to the interior was" all the fullness of the Godhead in him. "Colossians 1:19.
Jesus took our judgment on themselves!
It was not by force but by free will that Jesus poured out his soul unto death: No one took his life - "He gave his life in death." (Isaiah 53:12). He could have called on legions of angels to his aid and saved away executioners (Matthew 26:53). Of love for us and to save us, he was rather quiet and seemingly defenseless against all charges. He took everything on himself, for he stood in our place - "like a lamb to the slaughter". Isaiah 53: 7th
I have the keys of hell and of death!
Jesus walked victorious into hell - "I have the keys of hell and of death." When Jesus was put to death in the flesh, did not affect the his eternal spirit. Jesus was without sin, and therefore death could not keep him. Acts 2:24. Quickened in spirit, he went after his bodily death, Sheol and proclaimed where his victory. "His body was killed, but he was made alive in the spirit, and so he could come down and preach to the spirits in their prison." 1 Peter 3: 18-19; 4: 6th
Until the Cross Satan had power over all Adams fallen children
But Jesus, figuratively speaking, stepped on the snake's head, then he took the keys - power - from both death and hell. It is no longer the devil in power in the kingdom of death, it is Jesus who now has the keys in his hand. Jesus cast out Satan in accordance with the words he prophesied before the cross: "Now falls the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be driven out (ejected)." John 12:31.
Abraham, the believer's father, received the promise: "Your seed (offspring) to be taken by his enemies. And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed .. (1 Genesis 22: 17b-18a). Paul writes:" But now, were the promises to Abraham and his seed. And it's not: "And to seeds," as if it were many, but of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. Gal 3:16.
Jesus was referring to the promise Abraham had when he said: "And upon this rock (Christ) I will build my church; and the kingdom (gr Hades) gates must never prevail against it." Matthew 16:18. Jesus said to Peter: "I will give you the keys of heaven." Jesus has the keys to death and hell, and he has also opened Parle Gate to Paradise. Peter (and the church) has received the keys of heaven, in order that through the gospel loose souls from sin and the power of death - for all those who listen and believe, but to them for those who do not believe the gospel.
Jesus came as a liberator to hell
As a victory prince Jesus went to the grave and let them all free heretofore the devil in hell. Jesus opened the door to the department in hell where all the Old Testament saints were gathered at Abraham's side and brought them out of their prison for the company with him shalt come into the paradise world in the sky. "Since then the children are flesh and blood, he must likewise become a man, for through death he would make death's master, the devil, powerless and free those who through fear of death were slaves all their lives." Hebrews 2: 14-15. Isaiah prophesied about Jesus: "He will swallow up death in victory." Is 25: 8a. But the other port into hell, where the wicked is stored, he must be closed. On the last day of judgment he will open the door as well, then the people will rise, but then the verdict.
To the repentant thief, Jesus said, "Today shalt thou be with me in Paradise." That same day Jesus proclaimed victory on the cross with the words: "It is finished", he opened "a new and living way" to the heavenly Paradise. The robber who received salvation, never had to go down to hell, but could go directly to Paradise, where Jesus welcomed him.
Behold, I am alive forever and ever
The gift of eternal life
Jesus says repeatedly: "He that believeth on me hath everlasting life." When Jesus speaks about eternal life, it is not a question of an eternal existence, but of eternal life in glory and joy. This promise of eternal life is the greatest gift we can receive receive on earth. Nothing is greater than this, neither riches, or a glorified name, exaltation and success in life, all this can in no way be measured against this to get the eternal life that Jesus offers. (If I owned everything, but ...)
Jesus draws all to himself through the Gospel
"And when I am lifted up from the earth (on the cross), will draw all men unto me." John 12:32. The gift of eternal life is offered to all people through the gospel: "He has destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel." 2 Timothy 1:10. To receive this gift is life's most important event. There is no empty promise. He who "lives forever and ever," promised those who believe:
"I live, ye shall live also!"
"Truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come under judgment, but has passed from death to life." Jn 5:24.
"For this is the will of my Father that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life. And I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:40.
